About Dee Pat's Awsomotive

The history of Dee Pat's Awsomotive reaches back to 1976, when George and Charlie Smith, along with Dennis Lee, opened Dee Pat Automotive and named the garage after their daughters, Denise and Patrice. For nearly two decades, they served the community with dependable repairs and personal service before Bill Dunlop took ownership in 1995. Years later, Jeff Boeckel, a Class A Master Technician with more than 25 years of industry experience, built his own reputation through Awsomotive Car Care in Mt Sinai. In 2023, Jeff and Bill brought both stories together, creating Dee Pat's Awsomotive Auto Repair. This transition allowed the shop to preserve its long-standing local roots while adding Jeff’s deep technical background in diagnostics, electrical systems, fabrication, and complete vehicle care.

Today, our team remains focused on the same values that shaped the shop from the beginning: honest communication, reliable workmanship, and respect for every customer who trusts us with their vehicle. Jeff’s ASE Master Technician background helps guide our commitment to accurate diagnostics and thoughtful repairs, while Bill’s continued presence part time behind the counter keeps the shop connected to its familiar history.
