• Valve Cover Gasket: The valve cover gasket seals the top of the engine. When it fails through regular wear, oil will seep out from the engine block. If you see oil residue near the top or sides of the engine, you likely need a valve cover gasket replacement.

• Oil Filter Housing Gasket: The oil filter on your Audi is a small, replaceable component that constantly removes contaminants. The gasket that seals the oil filter can fail with time, causing leaks at the front of the engine. These leaks won’t always reach the ground, but you might notice oil residue building up on other components, like the accessory belt.
